Introducing Faruk Celjo, a committed professional who has contributed over four and a half years of service to Avion International Australia. Since becoming a part of the team in April 2019, Faruk has held the pivotal role of Warehouse Supervisor, diligently overseeing the seamless logistics operations.
Faruk expresses that while the job can be demanding and stressful due to the continuous nature of freight, the most fulfilling aspect is completing tasks in an organized manner, especially when working with an incredible team in both the office and warehouse. “While work itself is a constant, the people you work with hold significant importance, and the team at Avion consistently brings joy to the work environment.”
Faruk believes that Avion’s strong culture is a major factor in his enduring commitment to the company, creating a familial atmosphere contributes to his continued dedication. He underscores the importance of patience and the ability to expect the unexpected to maintain composure in a field renowned for its demanding nature.
Outside of Avion’s logistics warehouse responsibilities, Faruk finds joy in supporting his favourite sporting teams, the Sydney Swans and Sydney FC, while indulging in Tommy Margaritas at cocktail bars. His ultimate aspiration is to be actively involved in a sporting organisation, with ownership being the pinnacle of his dreams!
In his ideal weekend, Faruk envisions cheering on his teams and enjoying leisure time, showcasing his dedication to work-life balance. When it comes to dream dinner companions, he admires Stephen Curry an American professional basketball player, for his achievements in the NBA and the potential insights into sustained success as an athlete.
As a token of appreciation, Avion International Australia will donate in Faruk’s name to a charity of his choice. Faruk’s philanthropy is a key aspect of Faruk’s values, with Olive Kids being his chosen charity. His commitment stems from a belief in every child’s right to peace, food, water, and electricity. He directs his support to Palestinian children facing dire conditions, displacement, and loss, emphasizing the importance of addressing basic human rights.
