Cristiano Lazzari, originally from the beautiful city of Venice, Italy, has been with Avion Australia for just over two months, where he is focused on growing and managing the Avion Victoria branch.
With a Law master’s degree from the University of Bologna and two years of legal practice in Italy, Cristiano later transitioned to a successful career in logistics and sales in Australia, accumulating over 15 years of experience across both industries. His deep-rooted passion for logistics comes from his childhood exposure to the industry through his father’s work in freight forwarding in Italy—so, as he puts it, logistics is truly in his blood!
Fluent in English, Italian, and the Venetian dialect, Cristiano brings a unique blend of European expertise and Aussie business acumen to his role. What he loves most about his job is the diverse challenges each client presents. Every client has distinct logistics needs, and Cristiano finds it incredibly rewarding to tackle those challenges and craft tailored solutions.
The sense of accomplishment when everything aligns and the client is satisfied is what keeps him driven. Throughout his career, Cristiano has learned that there is always a solution to every problem, but you need to be smart enough to find it. He also believes in being honest and transparent with clients, understanding that success in this industry is built on a long-term relationship rather than short-term gains.
A passionate sports fan, he proudly supports Collingwood in footy and AC Milan in soccer. When he’s not working or watching the game, Cristiano enjoys spending time with his beloved Cavoodle, Luigi.
