We would like to provide a further update regarding our fuel surcharge.
As previously advised, the Government’s fuel excise relief had been extended at a reduced rate of approximately 16 cents per litre. This relief has now come to an end, resulting in an immediate increase overnight in our fuel purchase costs.
Following our latest bulk fuel replenishment this morning, our fuel surcharge will be increased by 5%, effective Monday, 10 August. As always, the surcharge is applied strictly as a cost recovery measure.
We will continue to monitor fuel costs closely and review the surcharge regularly, adjusting it in line with market changes.
